(14) Towards the Year of Faith: EJ Aguila

[As we move toward the launch of the Year of Faith, we asked our Young Fulltimers to share their faith journey. Read their stories in their own words]

I love you Lord

It all started 1995 with a blessing in disguise when my father was diagnosed with Cancer. That rock bottom moment in our family lead us to join the CFC community and so one my mission was discovered. I can still remember daddy’s prayer request a simple life serving God. Eventually my father recovered and was completely healed. My parents brought us closer to God and so the simple life serving Him happened. My younger sister both decided to go full time missionaries and our two younger brothers are very active in the mission work while studying medicine.

I believe that with God being so great to my family he wants me to witness and share Christ to other families. I also strongly believe that my personal down falls in the past and with God giving me the grace to rise up lead me to discover my mission in promoting the virtue of purity and Chastity. Yes I am still imperfect but I am a witness that living pure is possible by His grace.

17 years after that blessing in disguise I am still a full time missionary of CFC Foundation for family and life and going strong. My father is now my prayer warrior in heaven and I believe that he wants me to continue living a simple life serving God. I am a missionary because I love the Lord who loved my first. I love my family, the value of life and above all I love you Lord.
