(22) Towards the Year of Faith: Chloe Loquias

[As we move toward the launch of the Year of Faith, we asked our Young Fulltimers to share their faith journey. Read their stories in their own words]

I have been a missionary for a while now and I must say it has been a very interesting journey. I admit that the work hasn’t been all fun – sometimes it’s been difficult and challenging to a point where I thought it would be impossible. There’s a lot that has been done and so much has happened but no one can deny that this is God’s work.

He alone made the difficult easy, the challenging effortless and the impossible much more than possible – in the end making the work a success. I thought that taking this task meant having so much work in my hands but as I see myself in the middle of His grace I now see that my saying “Yes” to His call is an invitation to be a witness – a witness to His greatness. That the more I extend my arm to willingly do more for Him, the more He makes the work bearable.

I thought letting go would mark a great disaster but I now know that letting go to Him would make miracles happen. Still, there’s a lot that needs to be done and so much has to happen but continually no one can deny that this is God’s work and in Him alone will the work be done.
