(6) Towards the Year of Faith: Julius Eguia

[As we move toward the launch of the Year of Faith, we asked our Young Fulltimers to share their faith journey. Read their stories in their own words]

It has been 1 year and 3 months after I said Yes to His calling to be a missionary, and still affirmed of the path I chose and still choosing. Time has gone so fast and His faithfulness never fails.

From being doubtful of uncertainties, He is a God of whom you really can trust of all things. You just have to put a great faith in your great God. He has been a great God to me by making my life change, who am I to doubt?  I’ve been a member in the community for a long time only because my parents became members of CFC.

Though I was raised a Catholic, there where part of my faith I do not practice until the moment that God changed my views of my faith with the help of my fellow leaders. He really never fails, not just to me but also to my family. There’s a lot to say of how God has been great to me.

What I do right now (mission) being a missionary, is about bringing back what is due to Him. And I know, that this kind of life I have right now is the life that God wants for me. I’m just putting my faith on my God and everything will fall into its place because we all know He is a promise-keeper.
