CFC YFL Elected to FNYO Council

CFC Youth for Family and Life has been elected into the Coordinating Council of the Federation of National Youth Organizations. YFL is there together with 4 other organizations to lead the FNYO for the next few years.

Information about the FNYO from the FNYO Facebook page:

“”Iisa, kahit magkakaiba!” (unity in diversity)

General information
The FNYO is a body composed of the different national youth organizations and movements who decide to federate for the purpose of:
+ establishing friendship and cooperation
+ mutual sharing and enrichment of charisms and spirituality
+ fostering unity and solidarity with one another
+ collaborating to promote and actualize the national youth ministry plan.

Within the ECY structure, the FNYO stands as one of the regions of equal status as those of the Regional Youth Coordinating Councils. Thus, through the FNYO, youth organizations become part of the structure of Catholic youth ministry in the Philippines. (Cf. Ka-Lakbay, pp.170-171)

We, in the Federation of National Youth Organizations, are a communion of youth communities, empowered by the love of the Father, Son and Spirit. Together with Mary, we journey with the Church for a collaborative mission of evangelization.

We commit ourselves to share and strengthen the rich and diverse charisms towards building faith communities of young people. Rooted in prayer and living our faith, we take active part in the evangelizing mission of the Church.”
