Day 1 of Relief Operations

We started day 1 of relief operations at the Home Office. Our campaign is again A Drop of Love, which we used when we had this kind of a natural calamity in 2009 (see the blog posts about our relief operation at that time in these following links: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8).

Again, the generosity of our brothers and sisters, and even non-community members are heart-warming. We know that these donations, no matter how big or small, will go a long way in easing the pain of those who have lost much during the past few days.

Thank you to Charlie and Emel Reyes, Eric and Michelle Fernandez of the Israel Filipino community, the Guarnes family, Wally and Chinky Magtibay, Jun and Emy Siccion, Bob and Reena Murga, Pipo Sison, Tony and Ruby Borja, Lisette David of SFL Batangas, Risa de Guzman, residents of Las Villas de Valle Verde and the many more volunteers who came today!

Donations will be accepted through the night, just contact Joji Ibuna (0917-8262652) who will be there at the office.

Tomorrow, there will be a Soup Kitchen at RV Olap in Jamaica, Brgy. Tandang Sora, QC at 8AM. Re-packing will continue throughout the day tomorrow.
