As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, Intellicare, the country’s preeminent HMO, makes healthcare accessible to the families of the CFC Brampton Restoration Village (RV) in Barangay Bagbag, Novaliches, Quezon City.
The project is a collaboration between Intellicare, Couples for Christ Foundation for Family and Life (CFCFFL) Work for the Poor, and Nagkakaisang Samahan ng Magkakapit Bahay sa Barangay Bagbag Homeowners Association, Inc.
Intellicare sponsored the construction of an out-patient clinic on the third floor of the site’s multi-purpose hall. The clinic is 30 square-meters big with two consultation rooms and a waiting area. Intellicare also provided the basic medical equipment such as BP apparatus, ECG, nebulizer, and the like, as well as a personal computer to record the patients’ illnesses.
To add, the brother-doctors from CFCFFL Health Ministry volunteered to give free consultations on weekends.
The formal turnover ceremony was held on March 5, 2013. Present were Intellicare senior officers led by their Chairman and President, Mr. Mario M. Silos, and members of the CFCFFL, headed by Bro. Oscar “Nong” Contreras, Social Ministry Director.
