July Community Assembly: SG Book Signing and Migrants

During our July community assembly, we were treated to two events-in-one. First, our Servant General Frank Padilla launched his new book – 40 Days of Life – and had a book-signing for that and the other 3 re-launched, new-cover books: Fishers of Men, Families in the Holy Spirit and 40 Days with Mary.

And together with that, we had Fr. Edwin Corros, executive secretary Episcopal Commission for Pastoral Care for Migrant and Itinerant People, give us an orientation and eye-opening teaching on the plight of Overseas Filipino Workers and the realities of the families left behind.

CFC FFL now has an ongoing pastoral plan for migrant families, and is spearheading many programs and projects aimed at the OFWs as well.
