Our brethren from CFC Servants for Family and Life celebrated their annual World Servants Congress which started last Friday, March 23 and will commence today, Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Maryhill Retreat House in Antipolo City.
This year’s theme, “Kay Kristo, Buhay na Buhay sa Servants!” is also taken from CFC FFL’s chosen them for this year – CHOOSE LIFE from Dt. 30:19.
The Servants had special activities, morning exercises and vibrant worship sessions, complete with a Servants’ chant led by their resident Music Ministry, the SOLD OUT Band. The congress talks were given by Bro. Gary Faustino, Head of our community’s Pastoral Formation Office, Bro. Bob Murga, recently appointed Country Servant of the Philippines, Bro. Lachie Agana, Metro Manila Missions Coordinator and Special Events Head and Bro. Boy Katigbak, the International Coordinator of SvFL.
This year’s congress also saw the launching of the ministry’s different programs: Corporate Evangelization, Parish Engagement Program (PEP), and Migrant Workers. These programs rallied all attendees so that they’ll have the zeal, excitement and urgency towards the newer and bigger evangelization work of the ministry.
We stand in prayer with CFC Servants for Family and Life in celebrating God’s greatness and abundance, and as one community, we shout with them in conviction, “WE CHOOSE LIFE!”
