Oplan Restore: Typhoon Sendong (Update on Donations for CDO, Iligan and Dumaguete)

This picture captures the grief and tragedy pf Typhoon Sendong

CFC-FFL Work with the Poor (WWP) has a fundraising effort to help CFC-FFL brethren and the people of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan who got affected by typhoon Sendong.

At present, we were able to send monetary assistance to purchase food and water (since the airport of CDO is far and sending goods at this time is expensive), but still a lot more is needed.

Many other agencies of government and organizations are also helping, and we would like to share with them also whatever resources we can raise.

Whatever amount we raise will be given not only to the families of CFC-FFL but also to those families who are not members of community but need help.

Thank you very much brothers and sisters, may the Lord bless you even more as we share God’s blessing to those who are in need.

  1. Through the initiative of Bro Jonjon Fortaleza who's in Qatar, we are joining the fund raising campaign for the victims of Sendong… bro alex cera, CFC-FFL Cavite Cluster 1A, OLSH Chapter. God bless

  2. Nice post. Thanks for sharing. I hope that preventative measures can be put in place soon. One thing that can be done which costs nothing is each individual take responsibility for their garbage and put it where it belongs instead of throwing it all over the streets, rivers, and everywhere else.

  3. Thank you very much for this great information. Let’s pray for the people who were victims by this tragedy. This is an unexpected happening; there are many people who are victims of this tragedy. We hope and pray that they cannot happen again. God be with us all.
