B.A.T.A. means Biyayang Aral Tanging Alay. The B.AT.A. Program is a community-based Early Childhood Education Program for children ages 3-6 years old in our Restoration Villages and Mission Villages through its BATA Centers.
The “Alkansyang Lapis Project” desires to not only support the mission of the BATA Program in the formation and education of its children, but also to support and honor our committed, devoted and indefatigable BATA teachers who have untiringly served us all these years out of their love for children and unwavering response to the divine call to teach.
Your monetary support through our “Alkansyang Lapis” will go a long way in helping us continue to “write” a brighter future for our children. It will also help us continue to “write” the life story of the love and commitment of our BATA teachers.
As one community, let us use this opportunity to live out our core values, and live out, Mark 12:42-44: “But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents. Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”
