Usapang Family Ministries – Part II

Dear brethren in Christ,

First of all, Happy New Year!

This will be an exciting year for the Family Ministries and truly the Lord continues to give us this privilege to serve Him and His Church.  As a follow up to the Usapang Family Min – Family Ministries Appreciation Night held last Nov 25 at the Layforce which was attended by nearly 200 leaders, we have organized a session to be held this coming Saturday, January 7, from 9:00am to 11:00am.  This will be held at the Trade Hall of StarMall, 2nd Floor StarMall Complex, Mandaluyong City.  Registration will start from 8:30am and we will commence the sessions promptly at 9:00am so we finish on time and allow our leaders in the family ministries to have lunch and make it to the CFC FFL Community Conference at the Ynares in Pasig (also along Shaw Boulevard) which starts at 1:00pm.  There will be a minimal registration fee of P50.- per participant to partially defray the costs related to this session.

In this session we are aiming to equip coordinators and district/provincial area leaders with the HOW TOs of the programs the Family Ministries will focus on in 2012, among them, Live Pure, Corporate Evangelization, Work with the Poor, Liturgical Bible Study as we set our collective efforts in driving evangelization.  Apart from a presentation on these, there will be a forum whereby participants may ask questions or clarify matters that will help them pursue these programs, or even suggest effective ways based on success stories in their territories.  We also plan to hand out materials which will aid in this effort.

While we are preparing to send out individual emails to those who attended the Nov 25 Usapang Family Min (and specified their contact email addresses), may we request you all to arrange to blast this to both your couple coordinators for KFL, YFL, SFL, HFL, SvFL and your district/provincial leaders.  It will be most ideal that both territorial and ministerial leadership be at this session so we are able to draw full commitment and springboard even greater partnership in our evangelization efforts for 2012.

Thank you as always for your support, and we look forward to seeing an even bigger attendance at this session.  God bless you all.

Bob Murga (International Family Ministries Coordinator)
