What a Morning! The 31st CFC FFL Anniversary Celebration

Brothers and sisters from around the Philippines and around the world started arriving at Ynares Gym in Antipolo as early as 6:00 AM to participate in the festivities of the 31st anniversary celebration of CFC FFL. The surrounding areas of the gym were awash in colors of green, pink, red, blue (and more ) – each color representing a different area within the Philippines. International delegates in their local garb also made their way around the crowd – everyone smiling and greeting each other a “Happy Anniversary”.

The morning started with a Kids Praise led by the family of Mon and Merlyn Arguelles. Four of their children were with them and they were proclaiming the goodness of the Lord through their family. The Arguelles family, together with volunteers from CFC KFL led everyone to dancing and praising the Lord.

The exhibit booths opened after the worship. And the regions of the Philippines and the world showcased their areas and gave away free food for the community. Pineapples from Mindanao, suman from Antipolo, Southern Luzon’s local buffet, and much more food was given away to everyone going around the exhibit area. There even was a drum parade brought by Southern Luzon which brought music and dance around the gymnasium floor.

The morning was capped off by the What a Move and What a Voice competitions. The areas participated by fielding their talented groups of dancers and singers.

What a Move’s best dance entry was from Batangas, while What a Voice’s best song entry was from Catanduanes.

Then everyone brought out there potluck lunch to share. There was food ebough for everyone, and no one was in need. Just as it should be 🙂
