The application process for World Youth Day in Rio, Brazil is ongoing. With our CFC FFL application deadline closed (if you still want to catch up, contact us!), we now get ready for the CBCP Episcopal Commission on Youth deadline and requirements.
40 youth have signified intent to join, and we are currently fixing papers, forms and scheduling interviews and training sessions for the upcoming WYD. But is it worth it to go?
In 2011, we sent three groups to WYD in Madrid, and the fire started in them has only grown until now. It was a life-changing experience, and being one with the universal Church, praying with the Holy Father and making friends with Catholics around the world is wonderful and inspiring.
This year, the venue is much farther, but still worth the trip to go there. If you want to send your children (16 years old and above), or relatives, the deadline is fast approaching, so please contact us today.
If you want to help send our delegates to Rio, as registration and plane fare will amount to about P120,000 per person, we are more than willing to accept your donation. It will definitely go a long way to making the dreams of the youth a reality.
